It had very central location close to a Trillium garden. The room was reasonably large and well laid out and the bathroom was wonderful. A balcony and a couch were available here.

The views of the harbor and boats passing by were terrific. The decor is fitting a nautical location but we also had a great view of the city from our room, #8. The location is also perfect for exploring the North End and all the fabulous Italian restaurants found there. You can easily walk to the Freedom Trail and do that in a day. Loved the Boston Yacht Haven, will definitely return on a future trip.
It is a little tricky for the taxi drivers to understand how to drop you off at the hotel but we managed to find it.

We arrived 24 hours before Hurricane Sandy reached landfall. The hotel had upgraded us to their best room, a penthouse right on top of the building with 360 panoramic views of harbour and city. We were extremely nervous about this exposed position and expressed our concerns. The hotel staff very helpfully changed our room to a more substantial room in the main building without any questions asked. We were much happier about this and settled in for the adverse weather. What a pair of wimps! This hotel is in a fantastic location overlooking Boston harbour. The panoramic view looking city side is also fantastic. Small with (10 rooms), friendly staff with acceptable facilities (small gym, laundry, lounge area with TV Pool table, computer, refreshment making facilities). The rooms are massive and very well appointed. Located within 5 mins walk of the T (Aquarium) and 15 mins walk of downtown (Boston Common park). I would thoroughly recommend
The only problem for me was the noise. Bear in mind I am a very light sleeper and paranoid about any internal or external noise, however slight so... You can hear the toilets flushing in other rooms. You can hear the doors closing in other rooms (common for many hotels) You can hear the planes taking off from Logan but this will be a problem for any of the harbour front hotels because of the airports proximity to downtown Boston.

The location and the people who run this facility are excellent. I felt like I was on a yacht so close to the water watching the boats go by. The rooms were large and luxurious. We LOVED it!
Bigger bathroom would be nice. A happy hour would also be great, but not necessary.

Excellent accommodation in a prime location within one mile of everything we wanted to do in the City. We met 5 members of the hotel staff and were made to feel like nothing was too much trouble. In addition, on three occasions they certainly went the extra mile to help us with booking event tickets, a walking route across the city to the events, and arranging the drop off of our rental car.
There was nothing to dislike.
